Our Sunday School Program educates and nurtures adults and children in their faith and spiritual growth, teaching them to be more Christ-like and to live in His service.

New Member Class
If you are seeking a church home you many want to learn more about this church through our monthly New Member Class.  Classes begin the first Sunday of each month and meet at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Administration Building.  Class member who wish to join the church may do so on the fourth Sunday.

 

Wonderful Wednesdays
This program is offered several times during the year and includes classes for various ages. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and classes begin at 7:00 p.m. Topics and instructors vary each session. Reservations for these dinners can be made by calling the church office, 264-2241.  An eleven week series begins in September.  Meal season tickets are available for a discounted price.

Confirmation Classes
Sixth graders and older youth are encouraged to participate in Confirmation Classes which focus on Christianity and membership in the United Methodist Church. The classes begin in March and culminate in May. Call 264-2241 x 233 for more information.

Vacation Bible School
This summer-time week long experience is for children ages 4 through the 6th grade. Vacation Bible School is an excellent opportunity for Christian education in an informal and fun environment.

Church Library
If you are looking for Christian educational materials, visit the OPUMC library. We have a wide selection of books and video resources for both groups and individuals to check out. The library is located in the Church Office (located on Stowe Avenue diagonal to the Family Life Center).
